Terms & Conditions
Using Unistart means you're agreeing to a few simple ground rules. Here's what you need to know.
1. Introduction
These terms of use govern your use of the Unistart mobile app and website. By accessing or using Unistart, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you don’t agree — that’s okay, but you won’t be able to use the platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be 16 or older to use Unistart. Some features may require you to verify your student status with a university email or affiliation.
3. Your Responsibilities
- Use the app legally and respectfully.
- Don’t spam, troll, or abuse others on the platform.
- Keep your login credentials safe — you’re responsible for your account.
- Report anything dodgy to us at help@unistart.app.
4. Content Guidelines
You're welcome to post events, comments, and updates — just keep them respectful and accurate. We reserve the right to remove anything that goes against community standards or UK law.
5. Privacy & Data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and store your data. In short: we’re student-first, not data-hungry.
6. Platform Changes
We’re always improving Unistart. Features may change or be removed without notice — but we’ll try to give you a heads up if it’s anything major.
7. Termination
We can suspend or remove your account if you breach these terms. You can also delete your account anytime from the app settings.
8. Liability
While we do our best to keep things running smoothly, Unistart isn’t liable for any damages resulting from outages, bugs, or third-party links. Use at your own discretion.
